What is your assessment of 2021?

First of all, 2021 was marked by the success, satisfaction and mobilisation of graduates, which are key factors in the recognition of our school, particularly on the international stage.

This resulted in a very good 44th place worldwide, according to the Financial Times, for our Master in Management, in particular thanks to the 5th rank obtained by the institution in terms of satisfaction regarding the alumni network. We also rank 12th in the world according to The Economist on international graduate outreach, thanks to the development and outreach of our 41 chapters around the world. Finally, 2021 also marked an increase in student support, in France, first of all through the Career Centre platform, the organisation of webinars, group workshops and forums but also mentoring events. This development also concerned the international scene, and in particular China, with the structuring of 5 chapters and the organisation of events dedicated to the students’ careers.

What different approaches have you set up for maintaining Audencia excellence, despite the pandemic?

Our support was disrupted during this pandemic, particularly with regard to events and organisation of our numerous face-to-face events.

However, in order to maintain the same quality of service, we were able to switch all the events that could not be maintained in person to a remote platform (Career Connection Week, the Audit and Consultancy Forum, Hybrid Skills Day, etc.). We also took advantage of the context to create new events such as the Territory Impact Forum in hybrid mode. The objective of this meeting is to maintain the link of attachment to the region, but also to continue the relationship of trust that has been built up over many years! As a reminder, Audencia is a partner of more than 700 companies, and has been in some cases for several decades.

What is your vision for 2022?

2022 should allow us to bring to fruition and affirm our strategy through implementation of the projects unveiled within the scope of ECOS 2025, in partnership with our business and graduate stakeholders.

This is reflected in the launch of the first class of the Sirius programme, our outreach and inclusion programme for vocational high school leavers who wish to enter the Grande Ecole programme, supported by corporate sponsors. The career passport has also been enriched to make it more concrete. Following its launch in 2021, the idea is to gain better visibility regarding acquiring certain key competences based around soft skills. 2022 will also be the year of the official launch of Token, supported by the start-up Token for Good and based on the blockchain. After an initial test phase with students and alumni to validate the relevance of this service and the returns offered to future users, the Token will become, in the future, a tool for valuing the investment of each stakeholder in the school, by means of a non-monetised device. Finally, with the aim of enriching our quality of service, 2022 will also be the year that will enable us to expand our graduate offer, to support the development of Gaia with companies and graduates, and finally to steer the international development of the network and services provided to students in Asia, Brazil and even Africa.

What are your objectives between now and 2025, within the framework of the ECOS 2025 plan?

With ECOS 2025, our strategic plan, our school is particularly ambitious and wishes to reach new levels in its development.

In this respect, we are particularly mobilised to enable our institution to achieve all the objectives set, in France and abroad. This is why, firstly, we are going to launch a new fundraising campaign by the Foundation in support of strategic projects such as Gaia, our projects related to diversity & inclusion, but also impact research in support of business transitions. Our goal is also to mobilise more and more of our alumni within the scope of this development. This is why we will take advantage of their expertise and positive energy to double our mentoring support from graduates to students, but also to continue to develop our communities with both geographical and thematic ambassadors. Finally, the idea is also to multiply interventions and inspiring testimonies that strengthen the proximity between programmes and graduates.

What are your CSR commitments?

CSR is one of the priority topics for our department, via companies and our graduates. This is why we are particularly keen to support CSR projects through corporate partnerships.

In doing so, we can benefit from strong and long-lasting links, such as our recent partnerships with GRDF (and the Positive Impact Chair) or PWC (and the Multi-Capital Global Performance Chair) as part of the research work of our Chairs. When signing our partnerships, we are also particularly careful to commit ourselves to responsible companies, committed to the Sustainable Development Goals; This takes the form of personal convictions concerning the institution, which itself has been committed for many years to these subjects, but also in connection with the strong expectations of our students on these criteria in the context of their future careers. At the same time, we also provide particular support to students in terms of their well-being and personal development through the many pieces of advice we can give them on a daily basis. Support is also provided financially for the most vulnerable, thanks to the support of the Foundation but also from committed graduates. It is notably thanks to such graduates and their mobilisation during the call for solidarity towards students in difficulty that we have been able to strengthen our support. CSR is therefore everywhere, in all the places where we are present: the entire Audencia community, in the four corners of the globe, is committed to this essential theme, to create a better world!
